Carolyn Sue Carter was born in Anderson, Indiana the daughter of Harry and Mary Lee. She was a graduate of Pinckney High School in Pinckney, Michigan. Carolyn was pre-deceased by her loving husband John William Carter and the dear mother of Mary Kay Carter (Dirk Kemp), Katherine Tear (Michael Tear) and William Carter (Ruth). Carolyn was the doting grandmother of three and great-grandmother of 6. She is also survived by one sister and three brothers. Visitation for Carolyn will take place on Tuesday March 26 beginning at 1:00 pm until the time of funeral service 5:00 pm at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods.
