Catherine M. Yager

Catherine Yager passed away on May 23, 2019 at the age of 89. She was born in New Lexington, Ohio on March 26, 1930; daughter of Peter and Rebecca (nee Tanoury) Seaman. She was predeceased by her husband Norbert this last January. She will be missed dearly by her loving son Eric (Kelli) and daughter Becky Navarrette (Tom). She adored her grandchildren Joseph, Elizabeth, and Matthew. She was the last surviving of 4 siblings. She leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Mrs. Yager will lie instate on Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 am at St. Joan of Arc catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores. Memorial contributions may be made in Catherine's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 25200 Telegraph Rd., Suite 100, Southfield, MI 48033, Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 18th St., NW, Washington DC, 20077, or the Capuchins, 1820 Mt.
