Cornelius Williams Jr.

Detroit-Cornelius Williams Jr., 63, passed away on February 4, 2022 in Roseville, Michigan at The Orchards Roseville. He was preceded in death by his mother, Constance Williams and father Cornelius Williams Sr., sister Carroll Jean McFarland (Dwight), brother Jerome Williams, niece April McFarland, and other family members. Cornelius is survived by his family Jacqueline Williams, Angella Owens (Larry), brother Anthony Dennis Williams Sr. (Rayne), his special nephews Taelonn and Dwain, and nephews, special nieces Latrice and Zoekeitta, and nieces. He is also survived by loving great- and great-great-nephews and nieces, cousins, friends, and hundreds of others.

Cornelius Williams Jr was born June 11, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan from the union Cornelius (Sr) and Constance Williams. Cornelius attended St. Margaret Mary and local Detroit Public School. At St. Margaret Mary Parish, he served as an Altar Boy. During his early years, Corkey spent time playing sports with his family and friends; and also Corkey was known for his dancing, especially Ballroom. You could see him on the television (Scene) just strutting what he knew best, “Dancing.” Whatever subject matter arisen in discussion of sports, movies, traveling, television were amongst Corkey’s many interests. The community could depend on his help wherever it would be appreciated. Corkey loved being with friends and family.

We will miss you Corkey and will continue to think about you with the extraordinary things you did in and out of your life. Rest In Peace!

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 1 - 5 pm, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI.
