

Craig Michael Moir, 30 years old, died unexpectedly on August 12, 2016. Craig leaves behind his loving family: His parents, John and Diane Moir, his sister Lisa, brother-in-law David Welch Jr., and their son Davidthe nephew Craig was so proud of. Craig is also survived by grandparents Joan and Robert D'Amato and Betty Moir, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and USMC brothers. He is predeceased by grandfathers Alec Moir and Charles Riviera. Craig grew up in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. A 2003 graduate of South Lake High School, Craig entered the Marine Corps immediately upon graduation. Following two Iraq deployments, he was honorably discharged. In search of his life's passion, he worked for Noble International, Pepsi, and Detroit Boat Care, where he worked on and near the water he loved. While working, Craig earned a bachelor's degree, with honors, from Central Michigan University. He went on to Winona, MN, to work as a territory manager for RJ Reynolds, a job he truly enjoyed. Craig always kept near to his heart his days in the USMC and his Marine Corps brothers who stood by his side while serving our country. Memorial visitation Friday, August 19, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic, Warren. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11:00 am at Renaissance Unity Church, 11200 East 11 Mile Road, Warren.
