"Hello Big Team" Donald "Papa Don" Merrelli, age 86, died on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Donald was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 20, 1932. He is the son of the late Albert and Amelia Merrelli. Former husband of Antionette. Loving father of Albert (Dawn) Merrelli, Paula Merrelli, David (JoAnn) Merrelli, and Lynne Cherry (fianc Dennis Ramel). Cherished grandfather of Kyle, Nicholas, Anthony, and Rachel. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends while being remembered for his great sense of humor and his generosity to a fault. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 PM at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic, Warren. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorials to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital would be appreciated. As Papa Don would say, "Ta Ta for now".
