I learned of Dorothy's death while on vacation in CA. My last accidental encounter with her was at a restaurant on Harper near 12mile in the mid 1970's. Prior to that day, I had not seen her since 6th grade. My aunt Louise Castile was friends with her parents. And I remember her brothers and sisters and the welcoming I always received when at their home. Although it has been 40 years, I remember her with fondness and deep regret with her premature death. After reading the guest book entries, I am happy to learn that she was surrounded by a loving family. Very sorry for the great loss of such a beautiful, kind human being.

Such a beautiful lady...the kindest person I've ever known !!! Nothing but the best of memories during the time she was part of my life!! And one of the best things ever to have happened to my dad for sure!!! So sorry for your loss, Annette! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!

Liz you left us to soon. You made everyone a better person with your love and kind heart. Words can't explain how much you are going to be missed. Liz was like family and we were so lucky to have shared so many wonderful memories with her over the years. Al, Annette and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. (I know she's in good hands now, setting up poker games in heaven with my mom!)

Prayers to all of you. I was glad to be able to take care of her in the emergency room and when she was hospitalized. She always had a smile. I go way back with Bob and Dave with her. I would have her tell her " code" stories to fellow nurses as a education to listen to families. Very inspirational. Hugs to all of you, she was a great lady. I am sure she is at peace.
