Eugene Calabrese, age 77, died November 30th at his home with his family by his side. He was born March 8, 1937 in Detroit to the late Orland and Ralphine (Baratta) Calabrese. Eugene was the former owner of Firestone X-ray before retiring in 1993. He enjoyed reading murder mysteries, doing crossword puzzles, loved baseball, especially the Tigers and he was known to tell a joke or two. Beloved husband of Margaret. Dearest father of Theresa, Valerie (Michael) Powell, Eugene, Joseph and Anthony (Christine). Loving and proud grandfather of Joseph, Martina, Elizabeth, Dylan, Theresa, Andrew and Kyle. Dear brother of the late Sylvia Calabrese. Visitation Wednesday 2:00pm-9:00pm with a Rosary 8:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr (at Masonic), Warren.
