

George D. Milidrag died May 17, 2009 in Florida He was 78 years old. George is the Founder of Engineering Technology, also known as Entech, in Troy, MI. He loved traveling, boating, and everything nautical. George was a commodore in US Naval Institute and appointed by President Bill Clinton to the St. Lawrence Seaway Board of Directors and specifically the Advisory Board of the St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. He was also a benefactor and honorary member of the board of the Judson Center in Royal Oak, MI. George is survived by his beloved wife Ruth (Tina); loving children Margaret (David) Miller and Brian D. (Judith); step-children Cynthia (Albert) VanHoutte, Ned (Diane) Impastato, and Craig (Kathleen) Impastato; grandchildren Tonya Miller, Amanda Miller, Alexandra Milidrag, Katherine Milidrag, Gina Impastato, Ned Impastato, and Ruth Impastato; and brother Mildred (Dale) VanDeven. Visitation Sunday and Monday 2-9 PM at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave at Vernier Rd, Grosse Pointe Woods. Instate Tuesday 10 AM until time of Mass 11 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 43816 Woodward, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302. Interment will be White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy, MI.
