Geraldine (Jeri) Ellis (79) of Grosse Pointe Woods passed away after an extended illness. Beloved wife of James Ellis, loving mother of Janelle (Brian) Batkins, Joseph (Annie Rancilio)and James (Gaelen Parkin). Loving grandmother of Michael (Michele) Batkins, Joshua (Katie) Batkins and beloved great grandmother of Mila, Beau, Mikayla and Brady Batkins. She is survived by her sisters Gail Beadle and Vanessa Chamberlain. She was a woman of faith who recited the rosary daily with her rosary group. She was an avid golfer and loved cooking, hosting Sunday dinners and sending time with her family. Donations in her name are appreciated to St Joan of Arc Catholic Church, PIME Missionaries or the Grosse Pointe Crisis Club.
Visitation will be held at A H Peters Funeral Home, located at 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, 48236, on December 30, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Additional visitation is scheduled at St Joan of Arc Parish Center, 22412 Overlake St, St. Clair Shores, MI, 48080, on December 31, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am. The funeral service will follow at the same location on December 31, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
