Helga E. Williford (formerly Albrecht) was born in Germany January 30, 1925. She moved to the United States with her parents as a young child and settled in the metro-Detroit region. Helga entered into rest April 11, 2017 in Roseville, Michigan. Helga enjoyed reading and would just fly through book after book, always ready to move onto the next one. She worked as a secretary before marrying the love of her life Earl Williford, on August 2nd, 1947; the couple enjoyed 50 years of marriage and raised two wonderful children. Helga continued to work as a secretary after her marriage until the birth of her children and then her job became a full time mom. Faith was the most important thing to Helga, followed closely by her family. A charter member of the Fellowship Chapel in Sterling Heights she even served as the church secretary and was a warm smiling face that many of the members adored. She also sang in the church choir well into her 70's. Helga is the beloved wife of the late Earl. She leaves behind her children Denelle Parker, and Kenneth (Brenda); grandchildren Rachael (Christoph) Sanowski, Alexis (Brian) Brzustewicz, Alexander Parker, Lynna (Justin) Arcari, and Kameron (Sean) Humes and great-grandchildren Gabriel, Jaben, Eliana, Parker, Hudson, Briggs, Crew, Waverly, Bobbie, Jaydin, Kenny, Kami, Charlie, and Lincoln. Helga also leaves behind her two sisters Eleanor Bredow and Ruth Florence. A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 18th 2017 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM A.H.
