Jivco Erdelean

Jivco Erdelean, age 71 of Troy, passed away November 26, 2014. He was born in Nacfala, Romania on August 15, 1943; the son of George and Julia Erdelean. He immigrated to the United States in 1970 and married his beloved Dusanka in 1974. Jivco is a former member of the Serbian National Defense, The Serbian Unity Congress and past President and choir member of St. Stevan Decanski Serbian Orthodox Church. He enjoyed farming, gardening and tending to the farm animals. He was a builder and inventor of many interesting projects. Beloved husband of Dusanka for 40 years. Loving father of Zlatko (Slavica), Cveta (Stuart) Walker and Gordana (Bruce) Appling. Proud grandfather of Aleksandar, Vera, Mila, Maggie and Molly. Dear brother of the late Zlatica Milicici. Treasured uncle of Elena Martinovici. Dear great-uncle of Goran Martinovich. Visitation for Jivco will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 1:00pm until 9:00pm with a Pomen 7:00pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. Instate Monday, December 1, 2014 at 10:00am until time of Mass 11:00am at St. Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 4575 Outer Drive, Detroit. Fr. Zivan Urosev will officiate.
