John Moss

John Michael Moss was born February 8, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan to Thomas and Ella Moss. He entered into rest January 19, 2017 at the age of 51. John bravely served his country in the United States Navy from March 17, 1986 until his honorable discharged on December 18, 1991. He last served on the USS America during Operation Desert Storm and the Persian Gulf. As his military service demonstrates, John was extremely dependable. His devotion was also evident in his commitment to his family. He took great care of those he held dear. John was a great cook and will be remembered for being friendly, lovable and genuinely likeable. He is deeply loved and will be deeply missed. Brother of Thomas, Donald and the late Debra Ann. Caring uncle of Jillean (Eric Lee). Great-uncle of Jacob, Debra Lee & Ciarra. Proud god-father of Sarah Montreuil. Dear nephew of Jean Cammarata. Also survived by many loving cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00pm until 9:00pm with a service including military honors at 7:00pm A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
