Judith Mercedes Kracht was born on Wednesday, August 30, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan. She passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 with family by her side at the age of 79 years old. Judy is a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Warren, Michigan. In her younger years, Judy loved to go bowling and more recently enjoyed reading and completing word search puzzles. Beloved wife of Howard Kracht for 60 years. Loving mother of David (Sharlene) Kracht, Steve (Cheryl) Kracht, and Michael Kracht. Cherished grandmother of David, Danielle, Alex, Aaron, Rebecca, and the late Sarah. Dear sister of Donna (the late Ed) Jerome, the late Ted (Anne) Shene, the late Richard (Jackie) Shene, the late Hazen (Marilyn) Shene, the late Jerry (surviving wife Carol) Shene, the late Harry (surviving wife Sandy) Shene, the late Bob (Dorothy) Shene, the late Dolores (Jack) Brown, the late Phyllis Ladd, the late Sandy (surviving husband Joe) Gamrat, and the late Marlene (surviving husband Joe) Pissot. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic, Warren. Instate Friday, July 26, 2019 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am at Hope Lutheran Church, 32400 Hoover, Warren. Burial will take place at the Christian Memorial Cultural Center in Rochester Hills, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Lutheran Church, 32400 Hoover Road, Warren, MI 48093.
