June (Margaret) Stephens

June (Margaret) Stephens (nee Chaffin) of Sterling Heights died suddenly at her residence Wednesday May 16th, 2012 at the age of 66. She was born in Coalinga, California the daughter of Mattie (nee Kirby) and the late John M. Chaffin. She was a graduate of Highland Park High School and became an Administrative Secretary for General Motors where she was employed for 30 years working both downtown Detroit and at the GM Tech Center in Warren. She is survived by her mother Mattie R. Klakulak, Step-brother Thomas(Mary Ann)Klakulak, Leonard Klakulak, step-sister Patricia(James)Schaff sister-in-laws Janet Chaffin, Betty Chaffin, Maggie Chaffin and brother-in-law Richard Jamsek. Dearest aunt to many nieces and nephews. June was pre-deceased by her son Timothy, father John M. Chaffin, Step-father Stanley Klakulak, four brothers Ted Chaffin, Billy Chaffin, Patrick Chaffin, Paul Chaffin and her sister Barbara Jamsek. Memorial visitation will be Monday May 21st, 2012 at the A.H.Peters Funeral Home 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic(13 Mile Rd)Warren from 1PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 2 PM . Pastor Allen W. Fraser of North Warren Church of Christ will officiate.
