http://ahpeters.tributecenteronline.com/obituaries/obituary-listings?obId=19201344">Justin Christopher Reichert was born September 20, 1996 in Grosse Pointe Farms to Jennifer Darga and Henry Reichert. An excellent student, he attended and graduated from Assumption Preschool, Koepsell Elementary, South Lake Middle School and South Lake High School. Justin was a student at Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business when he became ill with a rare ideopathic autoimmune disease.
While attending university Justin worked at The Village Market in Grosse Pointe doing catering, customer delivery and more recently, property management. He also started his own company providing lawn care and snow removal and was just getting into real estate.
Justin was an entrepreneurial go-getter with a stellar work ethic and high aspirations.
Personal interests included vehicles in every capacity, hockey which he grew up playing for St. Clair Shores from the age of four, collecting Air Jordan shoes and most of all his beloved friends whom he thought of as family. He loved to make everyone laugh and was known for being pretty hilarious.
>> Justin also had a soft heart for the elderly, veterans and animals. He was predeceased by all four of his beloved grandparents. He will be terribly missed by all that had the honor and pleasure of knowing him - most especially his devastated parents who were so very blessed by him and his best friends including his “Basement Brothers.â€
Justin passed away March 9, 2020 from pneumonic complications. He suffered far, far too much in the past two years than he deserved. He never gave up and delved deep into his Christian faith to help him cope.
>> We love you forever and always, J.C. - Rest In Peace but have fun up there in Heaven. You earned it. We are so proud of you.
A private funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Detroit.
