NAVARRO, LENA December 17, 2010 Age 85 Beloved wife for 64 years of Thomas. Dearest mother of Marilyn Navarro-Maceri. Loving grandmother of Paul (Julia), Matthew, Anthony and Aaron Maceri. Great-grandmother of Anthony. Loving sister of Joseph (Josephine) Tocco, Sam Tocco, Isadore (Eloise) Tocco, Philip Tocco, Steve (Staci) Tocco and the late Rose Badalamente. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs Navarro was very proud of her grandsons. She was especially proud of those serving in the U. S. Navy. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking for her family. Long before Christmas arrived she would spend her time on crafts and making jewelry. These items would become presents for family and friends who would always look forward to these special presents hand made with love by Mrs. Navarro. Visitation Sunday December 26, 2-9 pm with a Scripture service 7 pm at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road Grosse Pointe Woods. In state Monday December 27, 9am until time of funeral Mass 10 am at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church 19851 Anita, Harper Woods. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
