Linda was my second cousin, and when I was young she was the wonderful older sister I never had. Her warmth, smile, and encouragement was one of the inspirations in my early studies and career as a professional cellist. Her kindness, and the way she shared her love of classical, folk, and ethnic music will never be forgotten by me. She was a beautiful soul who I loved dearly.

My heart felt condolences to the family of Linda Hult. I knew and worked with Linda at Walbridge for over 15 years. I was so sorry to hear of her passing.

We had many fun times with foreign films on Friday nights at the DIA followed by yummy Mexican or Greek food, an amazing bike ride into the harvest moon on Jefferson, and a fun trip to Los Vegas many moons ago. My Aunt Linda was a very special person. Though I didn't get the chance to see her very often, I enjoyed each time I got to see her and speak with her. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family and friends she left behind, especially her devoted husband.

Eric, I was deeply shocked at the news of her passing; it was just a few years ago that we celebrated her retirement from Walbridge. I met Linda when I started working for Walbridge 16 years ago. I soon found out that Linda loved cruising; she was actually referred to as the "Cruise Lady". I shared her love to travel; specifically cruising on Royal Caribbean ships. We would always discuss upcoming travel plans, names of ships and different itineraries. Many times we would discuss these plans while walking on the Detroit River Walk during our Lunch Hour. Linda was a "Special Friend" and I will miss her. Eric, please accept my deepest sympathy; unfortunately I will not be able to attend the Funeral Service. Nick Lutsch.

Barbara Beeman broke the shocking and sad news to me earlier this week. My heart goes out to the Klimowicz family at this time of loss and grief. Linda was a vibrant, sensitive, musical and truly lovely human being who touched and transformed so many peoplesâ€™ lives. She brought joy to my youth and a friendship that endured. To Linda's family and loved ones- I'm so deeply sorry for your great pain with such unexpectedness- words can only acknowledge your great loss and provide little solace. Though I wasn't fortunate to get to really know Linda, I was grateful that I met her at two reunions and I told Rick at the time she really made me feel welcomed and at ease- an obviously very warm and friendly person. When Walbridge HR Department email came out announcing Linda's death with her picture. It was very shocking, we never know when our time will be up to be with our friends and family. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Linda's passing. She was a unique person and someone I counted as a work friend over the years.
