Lorraine J. DiLisio

Lorraine J. DiLisio, age 81 died peacefully at Heartland Rehabilitation Center in West Bloomfield on Monday, Janaury 11, 2010. Lorraine was born on February 1, 1928 in Detroit, the daughter of Germano and Filomena Ciuffini. Mrs. DiLisio was a musician, and a wonderful cook and baker. She was known for her pizza and anchovy bread. Her family said she was a very sweet lady who had many friends. She was a member of Sons of Columbus for many years. Lorraine is survived by her children, Ralph E. DiLisio, Diane Leone (Joe), Elaine Swanson (Bing), and Tom DiLisio (Evelyn)and grandchildren, Ralph (Abra), Joe, Joe, Dana and Scott. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph and brother John Ciuffini. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 9:00 pm Friday at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. A scripture service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday. Mrs. DiLisio will lie instate at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack at Overlake Street in St. Clair Shores from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until mass at 10:00 a.m. Msgr. G. Michael Bugarin will officiate. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
