Lucille Warf Powell died November 12, 2017 at age 91. Born on July 10, 1926 to Clarence and Lillie Rogers. Lucile grew up in Oliver Springs, TN. As a young girl she left school early to work at the then Top Secret Oakridge Atomic Research Base near her home. Lucille was one of many whose efforts produced the Atom Bomb dropped on Japan and ended World War II. Lucille leaves behind children Barbara, Jack (Carol) and Shirley (Randy) Degeer. Proud grandmother of five. Sister of Paul Rogers. She was blessed by her large family of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren plus many other loving family, members. She was predeceased by her husbands Bennie Warf and Goodloe Powell and Grandson John Ludlum. Service will be private.
