Margaret Mary Andrews

Margaret Mary Andrews August 1, 1925 - June 10, 2010 Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Nel Andrews, brothers John D. and Richard, all formerly of Omaha, NE; survived by sisters-in-law, Rosemary Andrews and Shirley Andrews, both of Omaha, NE; 13 nieces and nephews (and 10 spouses), 33 great nieces and nephews (and 5 spouses) and 6 great-great nieces and nephews. Past President of the Terrier Club of Michigan, bred, raised and showed Sealyham Terriers for over 40 years, member of the Alpha Delta Kappa Teachers' Sorority, Margaret Mary retired from the Lakeshore School District after 36 years of teaching, and upon retiring from teaching, she volunteered as director of the Imago Dei (Latin for Image of God) Pregnancy Center, in Detroit, for over 20 years, saving countless children from abortion. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Imago Dei Pregnancy Center, PO Box 202, Eastpointe, MI 48021. Visitation 4-8 pm with Rosary 7pm Wednesday at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods. Memorial Mass 10am Thursday at Assumption Grotto, burial to follow at Assumption Grotto Cemetery.
