

Margaret Bullo passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 5, 2013. She was born on April 29, 1930 in Detroit; daughter of John and Eliza (nee Harrietha) McDonald. On June 9th, 1951, Margaret married John Bullo at St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church in Detroit. Margaret was a fun loving woman who enjoyed the holidays. She was an avid book reader and was exceptional at completing crossword puzzles. She was a loyal person who had maintained friendships with her friends since the seventh grade. Margaret epitomized grace and always tried to look her best. She was a long time employee of Burger King. She didn't work for her paycheck, rather, working with younger people made her feel young. Margaret was placed in a greeter position and would wear her wig and witch's hat during Halloween to make the customers and staff, enjoy their experience. Mrs. Bullo was a devout catholic. She attended St. Mary Queen of Creation Catholic Church in New Baltimore. Her greatest love in the world was her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband John (2009). She loved her children Barbara (Randy) Brooks, Jack, Karen (Rick) Pesta, Joan (Mike) O'Sullivan, and Jim (Jen). She adored her 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A Memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 10th from 2:00 until 7:00 pm. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Margaret will be cremated and laid to rest with her husband John at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
