Marguerite Martin

Marguerite Martin passed away on January 22, 2019 at the age of 97. She was born on November 26, 1921 in Berlin, New Hampshire; daughter of Jules and Marie (nee Couture) Bourgeous. Marguerite was a long time receptionist for JJ Knapp Photography Studio in Detroit. She was predeceased by her parents and 4 siblings; Wilbur, Charlie, Juliette, and Germaine. She was very proud of her daughters Michele Rabe (Robert), and Suzette Buchanan (John). She adored her grandchildren John, Jeff (Kelly), Bradley (Julie), Jason, and Andrew (Christie); and great-grandchildren Chelsea, Kayla, Hannah, Trinity, JJ, Paxton, Logan, and Grayson. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1st from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. She will lie instate on Saturday, February 2nd, at 9:30 am until the time of the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 am at St. Matthew Church, 6021 Whittier, Detroit.
