Marilyn Wakefield, age 76, died peacefully at her home in Warren under hospice care on February 18, 2012. She was born to Raymond and Allene (nee Schmidt) Eisbrenner on November 14, 1935 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Marilyn loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also loved gardening and spent hours in the yard. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Edward Wakefield for 50 years. Loving mother of Cheryl Moran, Suzan (Bill) Lanzi, Ronald (Brenda) Wakefield, and Daniel Wakefield. Proud grandmother of Douglas, Heather, Luke, Emily, Joseph, Alex, Matthew, Nicholas, and John. Also survived by many siblings and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 10:00am (in-state 9:30am) at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14085 East 14 Mile Road, Sterling Heights.
