Martina Terranova

Martina was born June 15, 1952 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Stanley & Lucy (Bishop) Young. She married Phillip “Pepi” Terranova in 1970. Martina was a very giving person and fiercely passionate about her family. She was creative, enjoyed crafts, and loved decorating for the holidays. She was an avid reader and was most proud of her literary work, hoping one day to have her book published. She loved eating out with family and friends, especially if it was ethnic foods.

Although we are left to mourn our loss, Martina would remind us to celebrate her eternal life. She will be missed and forever in the hearts of her husband, Pepi; son, David (Serena) Young; daughter, Valeta (Stephen) Clark; son, Phillip (Deanna) Terranova; daughter, Cynthia Mills; son, Michael Terranova; son, John Terranova; son, Christopher Terranova; and her 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

The family is comforted in knowing Martina will be joyfully reunited at Heaven’s Gate by her parents; sister, Loretta Meddaugh; brother, Stanley “Hillbilly” Young; brother, Clarence Young; sister, Christine White; and great-granddaughter, Delilah Rene.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 22, starting at 11:00AM and ending for a break at 2:00PM until 4PM when they will be accepting guests until 8:00PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, at Masonic, in Warren. Service will be on the same night at 7:00PM with visitation continuing after until 8:00PM.
