Mary Ann Ciraulo

Mary Ann Ciraulo was born December 9, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of George and Eleanor Hebel. Mary Ann entered into rest on November 2, 2018, at the age of 84. Mary Ann was a bundle of energy and made sure to keep herself busy. Her family was the center of Mary Anns world, she loved to host holidays and often looked for a reason to get the family together. She was fiercely independent and managed to live on her own most of her life. Shopping was another one of Mary Anns favorite things to do and she made sure to visit Lakeside Mall almost every other day to pick something up. Cooking was her specialty, and she always dazzled the family with her amazing Italian dishes and desserts. Spaghetti, Lasagna, and Banana Cream pie were her favorite things to make. She also worked briefly at Pollas Market in Harper Woods as a Cashier. Mary Ann is survived by her daughter Susan (Don) Kalpin. She is the treasured grandmother of Donald (Stephani) Mark (Stacy) and Lauren and great-grandmother of Reese and David. She will also be missed by her brother Gregory (Joann) Hebel. She is predeceased by her husband, parents, several siblings and her dear son Gary Ciraulo. Visitation for Mary Ann will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a Rosary service at 7 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren. She will lie in state Thursday, November 8, 2018, 9:30 am until the time of Mass at10: 00 am at St. Thecla Catholic Church, 20740 S. Nunneley, Clinton Township. And will be interred at Resurrection Cemetery, in Clinton Township. Memorials in Mary Anns memory may be made to the Capuchin Monastery. Please share a memory on our guest book.
