Renee Mathis was born September 10, 1955 in Detroit and entered into rest July 8, 2013 in Detroit at the age of 57. Renee was the loving mother of Kaprina (Anthony) Asford, Timia (Darmun) Revels, Talisa (Stanley) Moore, James (Anita) Moore. She was the dearest grandmother of Rodney Jr., Ashley, Sierra, Christopher, Dejanae, Lazaria, Dylon, Jason, Lauren, Keagan, Kody and sister of Norbert Revels and Sharon Brown. Renee is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation Saturday 9:00 am until time of service 10:00 am at the A.H.Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods.
