Richard Frank Marone was born November 27, 1923 in Shinnston, West Virginia and entered into rest August 30, 2014 in Grosse Pointe Woods at the age of 90. Richard was the loving husband of Vilma and dearest father of Justin (Judy), Susan (The late Bob) Jones, Rick (Shelia), Louise (Christopher) Gates, John (Alyana), Michael (Nicole) and the late Ann. He was Grandfather to 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and Brother of Mary (Ernie) Giroux. Visitation Thursday 6:00 pm 9:00 pm with rosary at 7:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods 48236. Funeral Friday ; instate 11:30 am until time of mass 12:00 noon at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores 48080. Monsignor Michael Bugarin to officiate.
