We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Richard Paul Threm. On July 11, 2022, at the age of 61, Richard peacefully passed away at his home in New Baltimore, Michigan surrounded by his family. Richard was born on December 20, 1960, in Grosse Pointe, Michigan to Elaine Smeltzer-Jaeger and Richard Threm.
Richard enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it was fishing, boating on Lake Saint Clair, or camping in northern Michigan, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and grand puppies.
Richard is survived by his wife Margie, sons Joshua (Kaitlin) and Dustin (Emily), step-daughter Megan, step-son Chris, granddaughter Peyton, step-mother Mary, brothers Steve (Susan) and Ken, sister Kim (David), and many nieces and nephews.
To honor Richards' memory, his family will be holding a memorial service at A.H. Peters Funeral Home in Grosse Pointe Woods from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, July 22, 2022.
