Robert George Abbott, age 77, died May 11, 2012 at Beaumont Hospital, Troy, Michigan. He was born December 7, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Lillian and George Abbott. Robert was a payroll accountant for many local manufacturing companies.His love of trains led to his fine collection of HO model trains. He spent many hours creating his model railroad display in his basement. Robert is survived by his wife Alice, loving father to Janice Tulak and Joseph Abbott. Dear grandfather of Dennis Tulak. He was predeceased by his sisters; Doreen Duncan, Katheryn Cecale and brother, John Abbott. Visitation Thursday 4PM-9PM and Friday from 2PM-9PM with a funeral service Saturday 12 Noon at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr, Warren.
