Robert passed away peacefully at age 85. He will be remembered for his kindness and patience, and as a man with a great faith in Jesus Christ. Even though the family is grieving, they are comforted in knowing he is no longer in pain and that he is now with the Lord.
"Well done, good and faithful servant...come and share your master's happiness!" Matthew 25:21
Robert is survived by his wife Rose (LoPiccolo), his daughters Janet Rechkemmer (Shawn) and Diane Carlson, his grandchildren Amy Rechkemmer, Ashley Humerickhouse (Matt), Josh Carlson (Paige), and Anne Rechkemmer, and his siblings Don Bendure (Barb) and Christine Togan (Virko).
He is preceded in death by his parents Alma (Juran) and Elvin Bendure, sisters Mary Bendure, Ruth Maceri, and Alice Schultz, and brother Richard Bendure.
Visitation for Robert will be on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 10 AM until 12 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236. A funeral service will be at 12 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
