Robert D. Boone died April 21, 2017 at age 82.He was born in Evansville, IN. to Paul and Opal Boone on May25, 1934. He worked as a Carpenter with his father for many Years. He leaves behind many friends as well as his beloved family. Brother of Mary Boyd, William (Joann), Margaret Solterisch (Roy), and niece Bridgett. Predeceased by sister Barbara. Robert enjoyed movies and watching sports on TV. He could trace his family roots back to pioneer Daniel Boone. Funeral 12 noon Wednesday, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. Visitation Tuesday 2-8 pm.
