As a member of IAAP, I always enjoyed seeing Ruth at our meetings. She was a joy to be around and I will miss seeing her at MDAM this year and in future years. She always got out on the dance floor and enjoyed being with all of us. My heartfelt condolences to you in the loss of Ruth.

I will always remember what a stylish colorful lady she was. SHe will be missed . SHe was so vibrant and full of life it is hard to believe she is gone. REst in peace cousin, you one of a kind.

Ruth and I became members of the Detroit Chapter NSA/PSI/IAAP in March 1975, and became good friends within a few short years of working together on committees, attending workshops and attending and/or coordinating various special functions. Ruth's exuberance and positive attitude were infectious to all who came in contact with her. Ruth served as President of the Association, and was named Secretary of the Year in 1986. She never turned down a request to help in any capacity whereever needed. She also served as Michigan Division officer,and devoted all her efforts to both her local Chapter and the State Division. As well as IAAP, Ruth was active in several other organizations while still accomplishing her duties as an executive assistant within her company. In recent years, we met with friends from other local chapters to enjoy an 'evening out'. Ruth's bright smile and upbeat attitude will remain in our memories forever.

I've known Ruth through IAAP and the many years we were at Michigan Division and Internatioal meetings. She will be missed. She was such a fun loving lady. Mary Seeger

Ruth provided excellent administrative support to our father Fred Meier at Burroughs Corporation when he was an executive there. She provided outstanding support of his busy schedule and always made sure my Mom Claudette had an itinerary of his many business trips. Best wishes to her family.

I was so sorry to hear about Ruth. She was a remarkable woman with an endless amount of enthusiasm and energy. I enjoyed working with her at United Way and will always remember how she lived life to the fullest. She's in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart broke to hear of Ruth's passing. Ruth so loved life. After a full career in the corporate world, she didn't set back and retire. She joined the Unied Way and touched 100's of nonprofit professionals and volunteers. Ruth was so involved and caring. If you needed a volunteer Ruth was there. She was so active with singing, church sailing, dancing and a zillion activities, she put most of us youngsters to shame. She may have been small in stature, but she couldn't have had a bigger heart . We can all take a lesson from her... Live and love life. Leave your mark caring for others...Ruth did that so well. She'll be missed. Rest in peace.

I got to know Ruth through IAAP. She always had a smile on her face, always positive, and made you feel welcome. I will miss seeing her smiling face, but know she is in a wonderful place and probably has all the IAAP members in heaven gathered in a group. Her family is in my prayers.

I always looked forward to seeing Ruth at IAAP events. From the first time I met her, she made me feel like a friend. She always made me smile. She was one of those people that I would seek out in a crowd to make sure I could get a hug. She had a zest for life that could not be beat. I will miss her deeply. Rest in Peace Ruth!

My sympathies go out to Ruth's family during this very sad and difficult time. I met Ruth many years ago when she started coming to Macomb Chapter IAAP meetings as a guest and then as a transfered member to our chapter. Ruth was always one of our models for our Fashion Shows and she certainly enjoyed "strutting her stuff" as she walked down the runway. Her smile, her laugh and her enjoyment of whatever she was doing at the time will be greatly missed. Ruthie, we will miss you as a model at our fashion show in April.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ruth at a Michigan Division IAAP Conference. Never have I met a woman so full of life! I am so glad to have made her acquaintance, and offer my sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Gosh. I don't know where to start. Ruthie was my travel buddy for many years as well as a very dear friend. Her enthusiasm for life and positive attitude were her trademarks along with her special contagious laughter. She dared to also travel to Lebanon with me and just this past June out walked everyone in our med cruise. I admired her tenacity and strength of character not to mention her ability to take charge of the fun. Ruthie you will be greatly missed A very special lady indeed.

You will be deeply missed. I'll always remember your smile, laughter and your zest for life. I'm so glad I got to know you and count you as a friend through our association with IAAP.
