Sheila Pocius

Obituary for Sheila Pocius Sheila Christine Pocius was born on January 20, 1974 in Detroit, MI. She entered eternal rest after a five month battle with bladder cancer on August 18, 2018. Sheila was a loving daughter, sister and friend who always thought of others before thinking of herself. She loved both the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Red Wings. She also loved watching many movies and TV shows with her family. Sheila was very active in the choir at St Matthews Parish in Detroit. She is survived by her Father, John Pocius, her siblings, Patty (Mike) Hammond, Patrick Pocius, Mary Pocius, Robert Pocius and Timmy Pocius and her Nephew Cody Pocius and Niece Paige Pocius. She joins her Mother, Gloria Pocius and her brother Tommy Pocius in eternal rest. Funeral Thursday August 23, 2018 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 6021 Whitter, Detroit 48224 ; instate 9:00 am until time of mass 10:00 am. Fr. Duane Novelly will be officiating.
