Shirley Theresa Meda age 82 passed away October 22, 2017 after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Haney and dearest mother of Anthony, Haney (granddaughter Nicole), Chris (granddaughter Katharine),Gary (daughter-in-law Fadia, grandsons Samuel and Daniel). Predeceased by her brother Samuel. Succeeded by her loving cat Lucy. Visitation Wednesday 1:30 PM to 9:00 Pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack at Vernier Road Grosse Pointe Woods 48236. Funeral Thursday; instate ; 9:30 AM until time of service 10:00 AM at Christ Church Detroit, 960 E. Jefferson Avenue, Detroit, Michigan 48207. Pastor Mary Jane will be officiating. Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Detroit.
