Sylvia Anna Wallace, age 85, passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 85. She was born on July 27, 1939 to John and Clara Weiss. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, Robert. She was the proud mother of Laurie (Tom) Hillebrand. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was a devoted teacher retiring from Mt Calvary Lutheran School and was deeply involved as a member of the congregation. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13th from 3:00 until 8:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Her funeral will be held on Friday at the funeral home at noon. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Robert at Glen Eden Cemetery in Macomb Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Michigan Humane society.
