Tom was an incredibly generous and compassionate man. A gentleman to be admired for a life well lived. A truly good man.

Tom was my brother-in-law, but so loved as a brother. His nieces and nephews will always remember him by his smiles and caring words. He had a way of making us all feel special. Always a smile and a twinkle in his eye. You will be missed greatly.

Tom was a truly good man who gave so much. God bless him.

I am very sad to hear of Tom's passing. I first met Tom during our GMAD years and remember all the great TGIF night's at Teddy's Tavern solving world problems. There was a brotherhood of great friends who all loved Tom and looked forward to his presence. My sympathies to the Wirtz family, especially my dear friend Jim. Rest in Peace dear friend.

I first met Tom when we shared a cubicle in the Ole GMAD Materials Management Days. He was such a lighthearted guy with a chuckling laugh. I told him how my Uncle Joe would call me "Johnny", and so Tom decided to call me "Johnny" as well. I can just see Tom organizing a Rib Run up in the heavens with his former GM'ers. Tom was a true friend. I already miss his emails and periodic phone chats. May God Bless Tom, and my Sympathies to the Wirtz Family.

So sad to hear of Tom's passing. I have many good memories of our time at GM (Material Dept). We were part of the brotherhood in that department. Tom was a great guy and he will be missed by me and many others.

Tom was a good friend of mine who I met at GM while working together in the Material Department for GMAD. Tom was a wonderful person to know. We shared a lot good times and it was always nice to see Tom at our Rib Run's the guys had several times a year. Tom was a good person and all his friends enjoyed being around him and talking about the Tigers and the Red Wings. I was saddened to hear of Tom's passing I hope Bonnie and Jim, find peace knowing how much all his friends loved him. He will be missed, he was a very dear friend.
