Valorie Joy Stefek

She is now joined with her late husband of 62 years, Charles L. Stefek. She is survived by her daughter Mary Katsiroubas (Dean), son John Stefek (Lori), grandchildren Nicole Frederickson (John), Zachary Smith (Samantha), Jack Stefek, Kyle Stefek, and Maxwell Katsiroubas (Victoria), and five great granddaughters.

Valorie loved to spend time with her husband traveling, going to the casino and country line dancing. She enjoyed being with her friends, either playing cards, catching up on the latest news, or scrapbooking. She was an observer and an avid reader of mystery novels. She loved to garden and tell stories to anyone who would listen. Valorie's greatest accomplishment was her family, she was a devoted sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She leaves behind memories and love that will last a lifetime.

A visitation for Valorie will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM.
