Virginia E. Gray

Virginia E. Gray, age 96, of Clinton Township, passed away March 31, 2015. She was born in Detroit, MI on February 13, 1919; the daughter of Albert and Elsie Uhrstadt. After graduation from Denby High School and working at various careers, Virginia became employed at AT&T where she remained for 43 years until her retirement in 1981. In her later years Virginia enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her sweet, kind, selfless, care-giving and generous nature. Beloved wife of the late Glenn for 28 years. Loving mother of Gloria Greiner (John). Treasured grandmother of Michael Greiner (Michelle) and Lauren Greiner (fianc Kenneth Sterk). Dear sister of the late Henry Uhrstadt. Virginia is also survived by her niece Sharon Uhrstadt of Corona, CA. Funeral Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 12 noon at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Marine City, MI. Family suggest contributions to the American Heart Association.
