

Beverly June Mollette (maiden name Howell), 81, of Columbus, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away after suffering from complications of dementia on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Preceded in death by her husband Richard D. Mollette, parents Clarence and Beulah Howell and nine siblings.
She is survived by sons David (Paula) Gruber of Columbus, Scott (Cherie) Mollette of Hilliard, Jeff Gruber of London, and Rick (Carrie) Mollette of Columbus. Grandchildren Ian (Annmarie Nobile) Gruber, Kristen (Benjamin) Nelson, Evan Gruber, Katelyn Gruber, Alyson Gruber, and Jack Mollette. Nephew David L. (Julie) Matthews and great-nephew Kevin Matthews and numerous members of the extended family in Ohio and Tennessee. Also survived by childhood friends Cheryle Meier, Sharon Seddon and close friends Patricia McIntyre and Rhonda Robinson, and sister-in-law Sue Mollette.
A 1962 graduate of Columbus South High School, Beverly was active for many years in the Alumni Association as well as a past Honored Queen of Bethel #5 International Order of Jobs Daughters. She retired after serving 24 years as Benefits Manager for White Castle System, Inc.
The family would like to express our gratitude for the compassionate care provided by the staff of Carriage Court Assisted Living of Grove City and to Vitas Hospice.
Services will be held at the Chapel at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 West Broad Street, Galloway OH 43119 on Saturday, October 25, at 12:30pm with a one (1) hour visitation at the chapel prior to the service. At Beverly’s request, in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to VITAS Hospice or the Franklin County Humane Society.
