Donald Earl Brewer

Donald Earl Brewer, 88, of Greenfield, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Court House Manor Rehab facility in Washington Court House. Donald was born May 11, 1937, in Ulysses, Kentucky. He was the son of Earl and Alice (Slone) Brewer. Donald was retired from Ohio Bell working as a Circuit Developer. He was a member of the Grove City Noon Lions, VFW Post #11208 of Harrisburg, the Madison County Amateur Radio Club, as well as many others. Donald loved working on the log cabin he built in Orient, singing karaoke, and operating his Ham Radio. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters, Lori and Lisa Brewer, and brothers, Charles David Brewer and Jack Young. He was survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Carol (Evans) Brewer; brothers, Richard, Gene, and Jim Brewer; sister, Patricia (Rice) Clay; special grandchildren, Jennifer (Daniel) Kasberg; special great-grandchildren, Charles "Charlie" Kasberg; as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held after at the Harrisburg United Methodist Church, 1160 High St., Harrisburg, OH 43126. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pilot Dogs in Donald's memory.
