

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his son-in-law, James Robins.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Doris Dixon (née Bogenrife); his children Brenda Robins, Diana (John) Coffman, Jerry Dixon, and Doug (Vicki) Webb; as well as many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A devoted family man, Frank took great pride in each of his family members.
He had a passion for capturing life’s moments through videos and pictures. He meticulously labeled all his photos, ensuring that every memory was preserved with care. A true car enthusiast, Frank especially cherished his '73 Grand Prix and '65 Falcon Sprint. His love for car shows earned him more than 175 trophies over the years. Frank was also an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, supporting them with unwavering devotion.
Known for his gentle spirit, Frank was a patient and kind-hearted man who never raised his voice. He and Doris complimented each other well and shared a strong and loving partnership in raising their family.
The Dixon family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Joseph Hofmeister and the staff at Jasonway Columbus Oncology & Hematology, as well as OhioHealth Hospice with Compassus, for honoring Frank’s wishes to remain at home. They also thank all the family and friends who have offered support through visits, phone calls, and meals.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at
Schoedinger Norris Grove City, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM, with interment at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH 43137.
Casual dress is encouraged. Please feel free to wear your favorite Ohio State attire in honor of Frank.
