

Glenn A. Turner, age 77, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at home. He was born on November 9, 1946. Glenn will be deeply missed by his children, step-children, and grandchildren.
Glenn was preceded in death by his daughter, Karla A. Turner, his mother Shirley Turner, his father Russell Turner, his brother Kelley Turner, and son-in-law Rick Wolford.
He is survived by Ann, his loving wife of 34 years, his sons, Matthew (Heather) Turner, Todd Turner, and Matthew (Lisa Clipner) Dewey, his brother Doug (Sheri) Turner, daughters, Michele Wolford and Marie (George) Smith, grandchildren, Amberly (Charlie) Fogle, Amanda (Joe) Sieber, Zack Conkins, Meredith, and Henry Smith, and great-granddaughter, Nora Sieber.
Glenn was known for his caring nature and kind heart. A talented model maker and architectural draftsman, he enjoyed woodworking and carpentry, leaving his mark on iconic local establishments such as Spaghetti Warehouse and Morton’s Steakhouse, as well as in his own home. He often humorously referred to himself as a "jack of all trades, but a master of none."
Glenn loved people and was always a joy to be around. He shared a passion for travel with his beloved wife Ann, whom he affectionately referred to as his "number 1," and they cherished moments dancing and capturing memories through photography.
Glenn proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran aboard the CVA-43 USS Coral Sea.
A visitation honoring Glenn's life will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Schoedinger Funeral Home in Grove City, located at 4242 Hoover Rd, with Navy Honors and a memorial service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Maritime Museum of Sandusky, 125 Meigs Street, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
