

James Robert "Jim" Robins, 70, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024. He was born January 21, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Nate and Rosella (McCort) Robins. He was a 1972 graduate of Bishop Ready High School and retired from McGraw-Hill/FedEx in 2018. Jim cherished the time that he was able to spend with his family and friends. He enjoyed camping, photography, trips to Las Vegas with dear friends Margi and Jeff Fike, riding roller-coasters at Cedar Point, and loved going to the beach. He was a avid fan of Ohio State football and the Cleveland Browns. Jim was a frequent patron of the Waffle House and China Bell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother in law, Ron Byerly; niece, Christine Chamberlin; and dear friend, Jeff Fike. Jim is survived by his loving wife of nearly 51 years, Brenda (Webb) Robins; siblings, Nancy Byerly, Michael (Candy) Robins, and Maurice (Cindy) Robins; in laws, Frank and Doris Dixon, John and Diana Coffman, and Doug and Vicki Webb; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In honor of Jim's love for football, please honor him by wearing your favorite Ohio State or Browns gear (Bengals gear will be tolerated). Visitation will be 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Rd., (HOOVER RD AT KINGSTON AVE), Grove City where funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery. Jim was diagnosed with Parkinson's 8 years ago and handled his diagnosis with courage and determination with a commitment to Delay the Disease and Fire It Up programs.
