After graduating from Bloomingburg High School in 1956, he married his high school sweetheart, Zana Cowdery Vincent, and enlisted in the United States Army.

Les was a sports enthusiast, with a passion for golf. He also enjoyed the outdoors, and spent many years boating, water skiing, and camping. Though he had many interests, family was the essence of Les’ life. He was a proud and devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
