Born on November 16, 1943, in Fayetteville, West Virginia. Lou lived a life with love, resilience, and devotion to her family.
Lou was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Michael J. Krueger and Charles Marks; her parents, George and Goldie Hamilton; her son-in-law, Ray Rennard; her brothers, Ed Lee and George Hamilton; and her sisters, Billie Romano, Raynella Eddington and Carol Sorrell. She is survived by her daughters, Deedee (Fred) Wallen, Angie (Gary) Howell, and Tammy Rennard. Her grandchildren – Michael (Stephanie) Edgar, Lauren Harold, Ali (Matt) Anderson, Adam (Bree) Howell, Anthony Wallen, Tonch Anderson, Curtis Wallen, and Chelsie Wallen-Dheel – affectionately called her “Mommom” and cherished the time they spent with her. Lou leaves behind several great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her later years. She is further survived by her brother-in-law, Pete (Carol) Krueger, Dick (Joan) Krueger, Chuck Krueger, and Tom (Frankie) Krueger, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Lou shared many wonderful years working alongside her husband, Mike, as restaurant owners. Their dedication to their business was matched only by their love for each other. After retiring from the restaurant industry, Lou and Mike moved to Florida where she embraced the coastal lifestyle she adored. She loved spending time at the beach and entertaining friends and family in their home. Eventually returning to Ohio to be closer to family, Lou found great joy in watching her great-grandchildren grow up.
A fierce protector of her family and a woman of remarkable strength, Lou faced life’s challenges with courage and grace. She fought a valiant battle against lung and liver cancer with unwavering determination. Her family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Rios and the staff at Zangmeister of Grove City as well as Luminary Hospice for their compassionate care during Lou’s journey. Special thanks go to Michelle from Luminary Hospice for forming a unique bond with Lou that brought comfort during difficult times.
Lou’s legacy is one of love, resilience and devotion to those she held dear. Her memory will forever remain a source of comfort for all who knew her. Heaven has gained an extraordinary soul who is now reunited with loved ones who went before her.
