Michael died peacefully surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by parents Glen and Hazel; Step-father: Lee Sharpe; Great Granddaughter, Penelope Ott; Siblings: Richard, Linda, Robert, Barbara, Jerry, Carolyn, Daniel, Sandra; Mother-in-law: Mary Ann Frazier; Father-in-law, Daniel Cunningham; Brothers-in-law: Michael, Andrew, Cy, Nephews: Jeff, Billy, Greg and Niece: Penny.

A humble servant of our Lord, a proud US Army Veteran, loving husband, father extraordinaire, gun enthusiast, fisherman and OSU fan, Michael is survived by his wife Darlene; children: Lisa (Brian) Smith, Melinda (Curt) Yunger, Michael (Brandie) Friley, Jr., Daniel (Amy) Friley, Angela (Michael) Ott, Alan (Robin) Meyers; Brother-in-law: Richard; 15 grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren; Best friends: Ernie, Pam, Doug, Jimmy and Tim, and many nieces, nephews and many more friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 2-4 pm at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY 4242 Hoover Rd. where his funeral service will be at 4pm with Jim Rose officiating.
