Paula lived life on her own terms. She left us the same way she lived – without a lot of fuss. A firm believer that "fancy" was just another word for "uncomfortable," she preferred t-shirts and jeans, a good cup of coffee, and a cigarette. Casinos were her happy place, especially when they gave out free stuff. She loved feeding and watching the many birds and squirrels that visited her yard. She was a mom, companion, sister, aunt, and friend -- a fiercely loving, no-nonsense mother who adored her daughter, Roy, family, and friends more than anything. She may not have liked attention, but her love was loud and constant. She will be greatly missed, but her unique spirit and the countless memories she leaves behind will remain with us always.
Paula was born on October 24, 1955, and is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Betty DiNardo; sister Nancy; and son Shaun. Survived by daughter Tisha (Wallace) Maynard; Longtime partner Roy Borders; Siblings Victor (Linda) DiNardo, Geno DiNardo, and April (Trent) Willis. Nieces and nephews: Chris Thompson, Michelle Dixon, Angie DiNardo, Kevin DiNardo, Joey DiNardo, Tony DiNardo, Christina Debold, and Tim Sites; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. To honor Paula’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
