Robert Scott Cartwright Jr.

In loving memory of Robert Scott "Bob" Cartwright, Jr. age 81, who passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Mt. Carmel Grove City. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Scott Cartwright and Evelyn (Green) Cartwright, and his sister, Bonnie Phillips He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Joy Cartwright, his daughters, Christy (Dave) Taylor and Cathy Clark, his stepchildren, Greg (Holly) Martin, Kelley (Mike) Griesdorn, Chris (Krista) Martin, and Doug (Liza) Martin, as well as 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Bob served his community with distinction, dedicating over 20 years of his life as a Pickaway County Sheriff Deputy. Additionally, he contributed to the educational environment as a member of the custodial staff at Dublin Schools and served as a volunteer firefighter with Tri County. He had a passion for the Cleveland Browns and amassed a collection of ink pens numbering in the thousands. Known for his strong work ethic, Bob found joy in yard work and exploring the diverse landscapes of the United States, including memorable trips to Alaska. He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Grove City and had a remarkable gift for spreading laughter wherever he went.

Bob will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his legacy of love, laughter, and service will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
