Born in Columbus on April 18, 1941, to the late Christine and Walter Stout, Bob grew up with a strong sense of community, service, and humor that carried him through life. A proud graduate of Franklin Heights High School, Bob went on to serve his country in the Army National Guard before beginning a distinguished career with the Columbus Police Department in 1966.
For more than 30 years, Bob dedicated himself to protecting and serving his community until his retirement in 1997. Above all, he enjoyed spending time at Disney, his favorite place to take his kids every year. Bob also adored all babies, especially his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
