

Roger Aldon Nibert, a beloved husband, father, pappy, brother and friend passed away on September 10, 2024 at the age of 75. He was born in Columbus to the late Garland and Mary (Stover) Nibert. He loved to talk and never met a stranger. He had a great sense of humor and loved telling stories. Everyone told him he should write a book.
Roger had a passion for music and was a blues man at heart, riding his Harley and detailing cars and motorcycles. He was a devoted dog lover especially for Chewie & Buddy. He loved to watch his Bengals and Buckeyes play. He shared his passion for music with Mark and his love for sports with Bryan, even though he's a Steeler's fan.
Roger always put his family first and taught his boys to do the same. He was married to the love of his life, Karen aka Susie, for 46 years. He had a great work ethic and also taught that to his boys. He loved being a husband, father, pappy and friend.
Roger is survived by his wife Karen Nibert, sons, Mark Nibert (Erica), Isabelle, Harrison, Lillian, and Madeline who live in England; and Bryan Nibert (Stephanie), Ella and Avery who live in Circleville and many nieces and nephews. He loved being a Husband, Dad and Pappy. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
He was proud of serving in the Army as a Military Policeman in Vietnam and Germany.
Roger was a member of the Crossroads Church in Circleville. He loved going to the Wednesday night small group meeting and attending church on Sunday.
Roger was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother.
Roger's family will receive friends and family on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Schoedinger Grove City (4242 Hoover Road) from 12:30-1:30 pm with a memorial service beginning at 1:30 pm with Pastor Doug Campbell officiating. Inurnment will be at Sunset Cemetery.
